Shaker Cat’s Head Wall Basket in Black & Walnut

The Shaker Cat’s Head Wall Basket in Black and Walnut is a hand-woven basket that sits balanced on its four feet or hangs on a peg from the carved oak handle. The handle is split oak, notched at the rim, and is securely attached to the basket. It is carved on a shave horse using a draw knife. This basket is hand shaped without the use of a mold.

The black color comes from my iron oxide dye and overdyed with crushed walnut hull dye. It is as light fast and color fast as a dye can be.

The basket comes signed, dated, and numbered and is shipped priority mail with tracking.

Measures approximately 8 1/2 inches tall (including the handle) by 11 inches at its widest point
