Pantry Basket in Blue & Green
The carved oak handle is notched and woven into the rim of the basket so it is securely attached. I did my carving on a shave horse with a draw knife. The blue and green is a German dye with an over dye of crushed walnut hull dye. I make all of my dyes in my studio and they are as light fast and color fast as a dye can be.
This is my 34th year of basket making with several of my creations in permanent museum collections including the Smithsonian.
Most of my baskets are shipped priority mail with tracking. It is signed, dated, and numbered.
Measurements: approximately 9 inches high (including the handle) by 10 inches wide by 8 inches deep.
